Product Development

AM or FM radios are the most common wireless communications device on Earth. In fact, in its early history, the term for radio was “wireless”, which now denotes an entire industry! We take these little radios for granted, but today you can find them playing in cars, homes and offices, and tagging along with joggers, tradesmen and teenagers. In fact, the lowly radio is the contemporary heart of virtually every wireless device on the market. Cellular phones, PDAs, pagers, televisions, wireless LANs-most everything “wireless” (with the exception of infrared devices) uses radio waves.

To help explain our manufacturing process, we have provided a step-by-step illustration of the construction of a custom-made micro-radio. Please select the desired step in the process you would like to review, follow the links through in cronological order.
