A sample is hand-sculpted out of plastic. The circuit board is mounted into the sample shell and tested for quality. This is how we create our working prototype. The advantage to this is that the customer has a working sample of the product to try and evaluate. Generally this is a back and forth process where changes are made to the prototype and the design is “dialed-in”.

When the “finished” sample is produced it then is returned to the factory for the next phase of manufacturing. A clay mold is also made from this sample for use as comparative tool.
